The Blemish Control 2-Step Routine for Blemish-Prone Skin offers a powerful duo of full-sized products designed to tackle breakouts and reduce blackheads, leading to smoother, clearer skin.

First, the Blemish Control Cleanser—a gel-to-foam formula—uses 2% salicylic acid to target blemishes and breakouts, while hectorite clay helps absorb oil and control shine. Following the cleanser, the Blemish Control Gel Moisturiser, also with 2% salicylic acid, delivers quick-absorbing hydration, reduces blemishes, and controls oil. Lactic and glycolic acids work to refine texture and clear pores, while CeraVe’s signature three essential ceramides lock in moisture and support the skin barrier.

How to use

Cleanser:

Use morning and evening. Dispense product onto wet hands with the pump applicator, then gently massage into the skin. Rinse thoroughly.

Avoid eye contact; if it occurs, rinse well with water.

Gel Moisturiser:

Apply after thoroughly cleansing the skin—using the CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser is recommended. This product is best applied in the evening. Dispense onto fingers and apply evenly to the face or directly on problem areas.

For daytime use, always follow with SPF, such as CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF 50.

To prevent dryness, start with applications every couple of days, gradually increasing to daily or twice-daily use if needed. If dryness or peeling happens, reduce to once a day or every other day.

Sunburn Alert: Contains AHA, which may heighten sun sensitivity. While using, apply sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure during use and for a week after.
